Too Sick to Beat Real Life Street Fighter

Hey, I'm Ev. I have a severe chronic back injury, a rare autoimmune disease that causes my t-cells to attack my own body, a partially ruptured Achilles tendon, and a slew of other health issues that have rendered me unable to work. Our landlord had to take out a variable rate mortgage, and isn't able to keep up with the payments- the rent has gone up a lot, and he says he will have to sell by June. I am seeing a team of specialists in Stanford who are using my blood to try to develop a new biologic immunosuppressant to treat me, and hope to have a human clinical trial in the next year. Most doctors and hospitals know next to nothing about my disease, which is Hidradenitis Suppurativa. Even a lot of what you find on the internet isn't true. (I don't recommend doing a google image search.) I need to try to stay in the area where the study is happening- even if they don't find a cure in my lifetime, I want to help ensure that in the future, no kids will go through what I did as a child, or what I and others are suffering as adults. I need to stay where I can be effectively treated, too.

I have lost the bit of income SSDI allows me to make, and what I get from SSDI isn't a living wage, let alone something that allows for savings.

I need to stay off the streets- I'm too ill to survive homelessness. I need to save up some money for moving, and I need to try to keep surviving in the meantime, too. Some friends asked me to set this up, so here we are!
