Loik was one of the first campers at the 2007 Ready, Willing...Enable! camp for children with special needs in Dominica. He learned a lot at camp and went through our leadership program becoming a Junior Ambassador and leading some lessons. This is amazing for a young man that is blind. Loik completed school and went on to earn an Associates' degree from Dominica State College.
He is currently a student at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX. He has a four-year tuition scholarship. However, the funding for his room & board fell through.
Loik is doing great academically, has made a lot of friends, and doesn't let his disability stop him.
Your donation will go to Ready, Willing...Enable! and be used to pay for his residence hall and meal plan.
