Help us pay for the Moose and Bears bench!

In honor of a very dedicated board member, Kenny Ray, we commissioned chainsaw artist John Schulz from McCall to create the Moose and Bears bench for Locomotive Park.  If you haven't seen the bench yet, head down to Locomotive Park and check out this amazing piece of artwork!

John Schulz has said, "This is the largest piece he has ever done".  Perfect for the best Holiday Lights display in the Northwest!"

Kenny Ray worked for Avista and helped recruit volunteers to run bucket trucks to put up and take down lights on the tops of the trees.  He had been a board member for over 15 years and came down with his kids, grandkids and wife Janet to decorate many Saturdays.  Kenny passed away of pancreatic cancer November 16, 2016.  He left Winter Spirt as group to send donations to in memory of him and his love of Winter Spirit.

Winter Spirit has raised some of the $10,000 needed to pay for this bench, but we need the public's help in raising the total funds needed for the bench.  If we raise more than our target for the bench, the funds will be put towards Winter Spirit and their continued dedication to light up the park.
