Art Kits

Help us raise $1000 to buy Art Supplies for at risk youth this holiday, we want to make sure that young people in our community get a gift that will keep giving.  These art kits give at risk youth a chance to explore with creative elements and build healthy self-care. Broadening Horizons is dedicated to inspire youth to become agents of change through the use of creative expression and social media.   We want our participants to thinking critically about the world we all live in. We encourage youth to harness their creative talents, be it spoken word, visual art, songwriting or acting, and use that talent towards creating positive social change. Our interactive programs aim to educate young people on a wide range of social issues  from globalization, poverty/homelessness,  environment to issues and discrimination. Our goal is to educate youth on the issues to empower them to affect change in their own lives, communities and globally. Our goal is to bring awareness to global and local issues from a youth-based perspective while empowering youth to become agents of change through creative expression and social media.
