$10 in the Last 10 Days for Orphans & the Needy

Tax deductible
Do you have $10 to spare? At a time like the one we find ourselves in now, orphans and people in need in the Muslim community need us more than ever.  From the comfort of your home, wouldn't you like to be a part of providing crucial assistance to our most vulnerable populations?  By giving just $10, you can aid orphans and people in need immensely.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not belittle any good deed, even meeting your brother with a cheerful face". [Muslim].

My local masjid, Islamic Heritage Center, is doing its best to aid these children, brothers, and sisters, but they do need our help as members of the Muslim community.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever relieves a Muslim of a burden from the burdens of the world, Allah will relieve him of a burden from the burdens on the Day of Judgement. And whoever helps ease a difficulty in the world, Allah will grant him ease from a difficulty in the world and in the Hereafter." [Sahih]

And what better time to help than now? During Ramadan, the reward for all good deeds is multiplied, with special merit given to the last ten nights that are now upon us. And as we know so well, none of us knows if we will live to see the next Ramadan, so we must take advantage of this golden opportunity.

Allah Ta'ala says in the Qur'an:

وَأَنفِقُوا مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَاكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنِي إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

{And spend [in the way of Allah ] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous."}

In accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet (ﷺ), let's be more generous than ever during this blessed month of Ramadan.

Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Prophet (ﷺ) was the most generous of all the people, and he used to become more generous in Ramadan when Gabriel met him. Gabriel used to meet him every night during Ramadan to revise the Qur'an with him. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) then used to be more generous than the fast wind." [Sahih Al-Bukhari]

By donating to the Islamic Heritage Center, you will help to provide food and living expenses to those who are reaching out to the masjid for help. These people are the sick, the needy, and the orphans, who cannot survive without the aid of the Muslim community.

Any and every donation in any amount  will help make an impact.

I ask Allah to  in advance to grant you the best reward of the dunya and the Akhirah for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me and to us all.

Remember to share, as the Prophet sall-Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam said: 'Whoever leads to good, he is like the one who does it.'" [Sahih]
