Solo 4 Siùn in aid of Crumlin Children's Hospital

Siún Foy is a five-year-old girl who is a big part of our U6 team. Her mother plays with our Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others team, her dad coaches two of our teams, while her sisters also play with us in Walterstown Gaelic Football Club who are based in Co Meath. It's suffice to say that the Foy's play a massive role in our. club. 
Earlier this year Siún was diagnosed with childhood leukaemia and she is currently undergoing treatment in Crumlin Children's Hospital and she is battling like the true trooper that she is. The team in Crumlin provide amazing care for our Siún and we want to give something back to Crumlin Children's Hospital. 
When a child is sick, top priority is finding the best care available. It’s the priority at CMRF Crumlin to:

Together with donors and partners they fund initiatives, research, equipment and projects with three main aims:

Saving Young Lives by funding critical research and equipment

Supporting Small Victories everyday for children living with illness by improving their quality of life

Creating Brighter Days for sick children and their families

And all monies raised by us will go to helping CRMF achieve the above.

So on July 25th Walterstown GFC will Solo for Siún in aid of Crumlin Children's Hospital. Starting at our clubhouse, we will complete a 20km solo to Meath GAA's Pairc Tailteann and back again. Each soloist will complete a 500 metre stretch of the route. Meanwhile, our younger members, from our U5s up to our U15s, will complete 20,000 solos between them. All in aid of Crumlin of course. 

So we are asking you, the people in our community, our county and nationally to support our Solo for Siún in aid of CMRF Crumlin. Lets help make the lives of sick children better. Lets help us to help CMRF Crumlin fund research and equipment and lets improve these kids' quality of life.
