NJPAHelpingHands is a community organization run by local volunteers. We connect volunteers with high-risk individuals in cities across the United States during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our volunteers help pick up groceries and prescriptions, provide tutoring/career mentorship, and provide virtual companionship. More info here.
Recently, we have had multiple requests that require financial assistance. Matches have lost jobs, are in need of food and basic supplies, and partner organizations like senior homes are in search of equipment and tools to help seniors quarantined in isolation.
Please donate $10 or more to support our local community.
100% of the funds raised here will go towards direct aid, supporting those in our community who are most at need (those out of work, sick, senior homes, and local emergency relief organizations). Not a single dollar will be spent on administrative costs, as we have that covered thanks to a generous Peace grant and another grant from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
In the event of excess funds, we will donate to LAHelpingHands , GiveDirectly, or DirectRelief, highly ranked organizations where funds go directly towards families and individuals in need.
