A message from David Guilfoyle, President, Crosshaven RFC.
Members and Friends of Crosshaven RFC,
Winston Churchill, after the Battle of Britain, declared for England “never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few”
Now, our time has come and our playing fields were never more in need of urgent help, from as many of you, as can possibly lend us a hand.
Covid–19 has severely restricted our plans and in this difficult time, our normal sources of income and fund raising have been cut off abruptly and we have little or nothing coming into the Club’s coffers at this time. In particular, we need to put in hand our Summer Maintenance Schedule, for both of our pitches, in order to have them ready, for whenever we can get back to playing rugby again. However, our Maintenance Schedule needs to be financed by funds which are currently unavailable to us. An urgent injection of funds is badly needed.
We are left with no choice, but to appeal to our members, our supporters and our multitude of friends, to help us through this and we are earnestly asking everyone, to make a once off donation to help the Club.
To that end, we are launching this Go Fund Me campaign and we hope that in true keeping with the spirit that has made this Club so great, we can rely on all of you to respond appropriately.
