Help Us Celebrate Jon's Life
Donation protected
It's with a broken heart that I update this campaign. I want to say that we are all fighting, that there is hope for my friend and cancer can't win. But, I cannot. Jon lost his fight to cancer early this morning on June 10, 2020. His sister and I were with him when he passed. Peacefully and without pain. Jon was himself until the end. Funny, loveable and kind. It pains me that he didn't have a chance to fight. To meet cancer in the ring, grapple with it and finish it with a resounding BODY SLAM!!! But, that's not how the story ends. You can't win every match. The hero doesn't always come out on top. Sometimes you just take a loss. And, leave it all in the ring. I like to think Jon left it all in the ring. Just from today's response from family and friends I know he did. Please donate to our campaign to celebrate Jon's life with a fitting memorial service.
About Jon
Jon has been one of my best friends for 35 years. He has a younger sister, two nieces and a father who is an Army Veteran. Jon has many friends who can say what a kind, funny and sweet guy he is. He just turned 50 in April of 2020. And, has worked at Valley Children's Hospital in Fresno, CA as a security officer for many years. Jon is a dedicated fan of wrestling, movie buff, couch surfer and semi adventurous traveler. To know him was to love him.
