Doing Scary Things (A Tattoo Apprenticeship)

This past year has been all about doing things that scare me.
From taking improv classes, to making huge life changes, to impromptu road trips and poetry slams, I haven't stopped saying, "yes," to opportunities that arise.

Sometimes divine timing just can't be ignored, so when I had the opportunity to interview for an apprenticeship with an incredible local tattoo shop, I jumped in head first, yet again. I practically held my breath through what turned into a two hour conversation about the shop, the apprenticeship process, life, personal development, goals, and everything in between. 

Friends, I am passionate about joining this team. It's exciting to think that I may have finally stumbled upon a creative career that I can use to support my family. To be able to use my art to transcribe people's stories onto their bodies would bring me so much joy. This could bridge my passions of art, creativity, human connection, community building, story-telling, entrepreneurship, social media, authenticity, and living a big, bold, beautiful life all into one.
