Black Trans News LLC was founded by black trans women sex workers in 2020. BTN is a youth organization that provides housing, healthcare, healing and other resources to trans youth experiencing housing issues and people in the sex trade. Currently, this organization is funded through sex work. Sex Workers started this organization and have been working to pay for everything themselves.

TS Candii and her team need your help! They are just starting this organization and NEED OUR SUPPORT!
This money will go towards securing a building in Brooklyn. It will also go directly to black trans people who need support. When someone in the community looses housing, experiences assault or needs financial help, BTN is there. During the Covid-19 pandemic, TS Candii and other organizers have been redistributing wealth and supplying condoms and other PPE to sex workers who are excluded from government programs. This money provides housing, food, and resources to those who most need it. The long term goals of the organization will also provide leadership training and other skill-building. This is a grassroots organization created by people who have been most impacted by racist policing and economic discrimination.
Now is the time to show out and support black trans women in leadership. Black trans people are dying every day - let's support our community. Let's take care of each other.
