Feed our Health Care Heroes!

We've had two successful campaigns already, so I'm asking you all again to contribute to feeding our local health care heroes. We've gotten our food cost down to $10 a plate, which is much lower than any of the regular meal prices on our normal menu. If you can contribute some of the cost, you'll be helping us keep our little neighborhood restaurant going, and at the same time, you'll be supporting our heroic health care workers fighting this disease on the front lines in our community and on our streets. At the Verdugo Hills Hospital the units are made up of about 20 people each, so if we reach our goal on this campaign, we'll be able to feed THREE different units of workers! They handle all kinds of health care problems, and it's important that we support them, because they're the people that take care of us when we're sick or when we hurt ourselves. Through the years Verdugo Hills has been there for my family and my community. Alissa and I have been there personally several times over the years for everything from routine office visits to emergency room nightmares to heartbreaking hospice experiences. The people there really are our heroes, and with your help we'd like to buy them a meal. Please contribute what you can and help us spread the love.
