Shipping Joey Pouches to Australia

I’ve been approached by a friend in Australia to help make joey pouches for some of the animals affected by the wildfires. I'm working with a member of the Animal Rescue Craft Guild and I plan to make and collect joey pouches to mail out on February 5, 2020.
What started as a small effort among my close friends has turned into something monumental with folks and guilds around the country sending in pouches, blankets, and other donations. We've become a donation hub in the U.S. which is awesome.
Shipping to Australia from the U.S. is very expensive. With the sheer amount we're receiving, it has turned from a small box into a literal freight shipment.
Several of my non-knitter friends have expressed interest in helping out. For anyone who would like to help, we could use help with the shipping expenses. We're estimating that shipping will come in between $300-500. Anything we receive beyond the cost of shipping will be donated directly to the Australian Animal Rescue Craft Guild.
Once everything is shipped out, my goal will be to report back to everyone on how much we managed to craft and donate via my blog and social media.
