PGA HOPE WNY Buffalo Marathon

PGA REACH is the 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the PGA of America.   The mission of PGA REACH is to positively impact the lives of youth,  military, and diverse populations by enabling access to PGA  Professionals, PGA Sections and the game of golf.  

PGA REACH WNY was created with a goal of providing support to various organizations within the boundaries of the Western New York PGA Section. Through the game of golf, the Foundation will work to fund programs supporting its mission including the Western New York Section PGA Junior Golf initiatives and various other underprivileged youth golf programs. The Foundation will conduct and/or support a variety of initiatives that serve the founding pillars: youth, Military, and diversity in golf.

In an effort to raise money for PGA REACH WNY and one of our Founding Pillars, Military, runners with a connection to the WNYPGA and PGA REACH WNY are  running, not only to raise money for this charitable foundation but also  to raise awareness about their outreach and for the PGA HOPE WNY Program.

PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) WNY is the flagship military program of PGA REACH WNY.  PGA HOPE introduces golf to veterans with disabilities to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being. In 2018, there were 2,000 veterans impacted nationwide by this therapeutic program with over 75 directly impacted in WNY.

PGA REACH WNY is built on three pillars and along with those pillars are  flagship programs. In respective order to the mission of PGA REACH,  these programs are; PGA Jr. League, PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots  Everywhere), and PGA WORKS.
