2020 Cares Tour of Uganda - Donation Drive

Hello All. We are so excited that our Queen Vanessa Nansamba is heading to Uganda at the end of February on our 3rd annual Cares Tour of Uganda, which runs from February 24th through March 8th 2020. There is so many charity activities planned for this year's tour, including: Hosting the LadiesFirst! mentoring and counseling day for girls at Rubaga Girls' School, donating scholastic and sanitation materials to Katanga - one of Uganda's largest slums, and donating tools for financial independence, such as sewing machines, to the ladies at The Remnant Generation - most of whom are survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. Where Your Donation Goes 1. Facilitation of Counsellors at the girls' counseling session (~ 500 USD) 2. Skilling Equipment for The Remnant Generation, which includes: Cake mixers for baking class (each costs ~ 400 USD) Eco stove used for baking (each costs ~ 1,000 USD) Regular Sewing machines (Brother) (each costs ~ 150 USD) We will get as much of this equipment as we can 3. Sanitary equipment, including two large community rubbish bins and sanitary pads (~ 600 USD) We need your help in making this year's tour a success as always. Just as we did last year, we plan to hand a commemorative map to all recipients of our charity this year, indicating your names and locations. This way they will never forget that we are so far away from them but we care about them always.
