Support me as Transgender Miss USA in Thailand

Please help me represent the U.S. transgender community at Miss International Queen 2020 on March 7 in Thailand. As the world's most prestigious transgender pageant, this is an incredible opportunity to build international solidarity and visibility for the trans community. In my thirteen years of transgender activist in the United States, I never thought I'd enter a beauty pageant. But after one year of interviewing transgender people across Southeast Asia, I've learned how pageants can be powerful tools for social change and LGBTQ rights. When the opportunity arose to apply to the pageant in December I took it, and one week ago I was selected as Miss USA! I will spend 13 days with the other contestants leading up to the pageant, which will be an incredible opportunity to build connections and learn about the experiences of transgender people around the world — which I plan to share through my blog TransWorldView .

However, I need your help though to make this pageant possible. The entry fee was 25,000 baht ($800), and I have to cover all my other expenses. Luckily, I now have two amazing Thai sponsors helping me — Risgee Weddings and the Miss Perfect Angel transgender pageant. However, there are still many other expenses I have to cover, including filming my video entry for the competition (I have hired a Thai transgender filmmaker), travel, food, makeup, and clothing.
