The Sene-Gambian Scholars at Amherst Regional High School is collecting pennies to purchase a copier for the village of Pambal, Senegal, which doesn’t have one. Villagers and teachers currently walk 6 miles to copy important documents and lessons, a 3-hour round trip. The new copier will live in the primary school, but it will serve 4 schools and everyone else in the village.
