Love and Light, Family. On Monday, February 10, 2020, we were awoken to the news that our healing home Lax Energy Worx was up in flames. What a horrific sight standing there watching all our hard work and energy burn in the cold night. It got to the point where it was unbearable to watch and we just had to walk away. Our hub for healing we called Lax located in the South Loop of Chicago was up in smoke and we felt completely powerless. The birthplace of our beautiful creation is now a pail of rubble and ashes and it hurts. I know that Lax is more than just the building it was established in, but that building did an amazing job at supporting our vision. There we built a foundation for collective growth, healing, and elevation.
Today I would like to continue the mission and vision of Lax Energy Worx. With collective help, lax will move with the same momentum and positive energy. Lax is a movement that is all about healing and supporting the community. We are asking for your support in our efforts to raise $15,000 to fund the Lax Energy Worx rebuild and relocation. We are determined to move forward, showing the universe that we can withstand with the help of all of our sisters and brothers. The sooner we raise the funds the sooner we can provide a home for our community or healers, a space of cultivating positive change, and a new foundation for the energy that now lives through lax.
We will use the funds we raise for a new 2,600 sq. Ft location that has presented itself as a great fit for our vision. In this space, we can continue to create the pure positive energy we brought to fruition. This would also allow us to move swiftly back into helping and healing ourselves and our communities, promoting wholeness and balance. Any donation is greatly appreciated. Your help will be contributing to something way bigger than just assisting after devastation and more of a mission to uplift the masses. Your support helps us to do just that.
