Kernow Hydro Pool Hoist & Disabled Access

Kernow Hydro - Family Well Being Center was built on a shoestring budget and credit cards in 2015. It was completed in 9 weeks !! and had to fit into a building that was already on site. It was built to meet the needs of the community for a warm, chemical free place do rehabilitation & learn to swim.
At the time it was not possible to install a hoist but there is now technology available that suits our requirements and we would like to install a hoist and changing facilities to enable disabled community members to use our pool. This will mean we need to change the platform by the pool, add some emergency stairs and the changerooms to enable disabled access to our hydropool. We are hoping to do this over the COVID closure time, if we can raise the funds.
Even though we are an NHS approved center and take referrals direct from GPs and hospitals we are not eligible for funding at present so I am asking for assistance to enable a huge part of our community to have access to the amazing healing waters at Kernow Hydro. Any money raised that is above what is required for the fit out will be put into an account to enable those who cannot afford hydrotherapy treatment to have it for free.
