Catfeine Cat Cafe: Covid-19 Relief Fund

We're Curtis and Taura Byrd.  We opened Catfeine Cat Café in Murfreeesboro, TN in April 2019 and we have found furever homes for over 200 cats in our first 15 months in business.  We are so proud of our accomplishments and happy to serve our community and provide a safe haven for rescue cats.  We also love providing a place of joy and happiness to the people in our community.   While all small businesses face ups and downs, nothing could have prepared us for the COVID-19 Corona Virus pandemic. 

In March we had to close our doors due to the pandemic, and remained closed for 2 months. We re-opened at the end of May on a limited scale due to social distancing requirements.  Our business is currently experiencing a 50% reduction in sales due to the pandemic. This will be unsustainable for a long period of time.

That’s why we’re asking for your continued support.  Crowd funding like GoFundMe allows a lot of people to donate small amounts that can add up and make a big impact.  Together we can pull through and hopefully come out of this with minimal negative impact.  

Your support means the world to us.  We know that we couldn’t have done anything we’ve done in the last year without the wonderful support of the people in our community.  We also know many of you also face uncertainty during this difficult time and our thoughts and prayers are with you.

All funds raised will help cover our expenses such as rent, utilities, insurance, payroll and providing care for the cats.
