Charities, like all businesses are facing closure at this terrible time due to coronavirus.
A charity close to my heart is SOFA Project, Bristol and I have set up this fundraising page to support SOFA Project through this tough time; your support could help this charity continue to do the amazing work that it does, let's help SOFA Project survive?
SOFA Project is a registered charity and social enterprise, based in Bristol.
SOFA Project is a furniture reuse charity, with two shops and one warehouse, they collect, upcycle and repair furniture and appliances to sell at low cost to people on low or no income.
SOFA Project also works with HMP Leyhill Open Prison, offering work placements and experience to those excluded from the job market.
Governor of HMP Leyhill, Neil Lavis said, “SOFA Project plays a key role in the rehabilitation of prisoners back into society by providing meaningful employment. The organisation has consistently been able to provide opportunities and training for low risk category prisoners”.
SOFA Project is a sustainable charity, and has been helping the environment and helping people for 40 years.
