Helping Garage Passyunk Employees

Garage Passyunk opened in South Philadelphia in the summer of 2013 and is independently owned. Recently the hospitality group that oversees Garage, The Vintage Syndicate, had to make the difficult decision to lay off the entire staff, about 10 employees, due to the covid-19 pandemic. The entire staff would rather be working right now but the safest decision, for staff and guests alike, is to have them home with their families. 


100% of the funds collected here will be distributed fairly to the staff, both front and back of house, in order to help them through this difficult time. The distribution will be based on the average number of shifts worked in the weeks leading up to the layoff. It will not be based on their hourly rate.
