Support Jeannie's Diner

Dear Jeannie’s Diner Friends,

These are unprecedented times and we are asking for your help.  The Jeannie's Diner location in Downtown Coldwater has been a local destination since early 1950's as Harry's House of Flavors, the 1980s and 1990s as Irma's then 2000 as Eddie's.  Jeannie bought the business in 2007 and for 13 years we have enjoyed serving all of you coffee, breakfast, lunch and yummy homemade pies.   Our little Diner has become a center of the community, a place to see old friends, a place to discuss the current events and a place to just hang out.  Our dedicated staff and Jeannie have worked hard over the years to bring you the best service, the best food, at the best prices.

Now we have had to temporally close and our Diner world has been turned upside down.   Like many others, we’re scrambling for ideas to make sure we can reopen when this crisis is over.   To help our dedicated workers we have put together a list of projects to keep busy and put a little money in their pockets for their families and some peace of mind.  Over the next couple of weeks we will be painting, cleaning and getting the Diner ready to reopen.  Unfortunately with little to no revenue coming in the door our funds are quickly dwindling and we need your help.

We’ve decided to start a GoFundMe project.   It’s a way for our customers to help us get through these unprecedented times and get something in return.  We’re asking for your help to keep our employees paid and our doors from permanently closing.

Anything helps during this time,  however for a $50 donation you will receive a Jeannie's Diner t-shirt plus a Diner $10 gift certificate.  For a $100 donation or more you will receive a Jeannie's Diner t-shirt and Jeannie's Diner Baseball cap plus a $25 gift certificate.  Your help will go directly to paying our great staff, our business loans, our suppliers, utilities, and ensuring that we can continue to be a part of the Coldwater community for many years to come.

It’s not part of our pride to ask anything from our customers who already do so much in supporting us. However, these are times like we’ve never experienced in our lives and hopefully never will again.

We are so grateful to all of our customers.  Words can’t describe how thankful we are to have served the Coldwater community and beyond the past 13 years. We are doing everything we can within our power to continue doing so.

Thank you,
Jeanne and Chuck Wood
