The Front Steps Project (Thibodaux - Houma)

I am volunteering to take five minute 'Front Step Portraits' of local residents to benefit local business in the area!
It will be a very quick session done outside of your house, on your front steps, porch, yard, stoop, etc. I will always be at least 10 feet away from your family at all times.I physically interact with no one during this time nor will I touch anything that isn’t mine. I will be socially responsible and keep my distance. After your session, I will send you an edited version of your digital portrait(s) - it's for you to keep and to do as you please - no strings attached! The only thing I ask is that you make a donation to help with this cause (please note that a donation is required UP FRONT). 100% of all donations will go directly to small businesses in the area of Thibodaux/Houma to help with rent, payroll, inventory, etc. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
The purpose of this project is to bring us together when we might feel isolated. and to support maybe a family member or friend who owns a local business being affected by this pandemic. Small businesses are the heart of our communities and they need our support now more than ever. Participating in this project is an opportunity to step up to help those who need it most right now.
Remember that this is not your typical photo session. I ask that you not worry about wardrobe, but to come as you are. All I want to capture is the love and connection that is your family.

Being a freelance photographer right here in Thibodaux/Houma Louisiana I had to postpone all my sessions that are scheduled for the next few months and don't know when it will start up again. But doing this project will allow me to do something that I love to do, which is capturing real moments and real memories.
