Orthodox Christian Fabric Face Masks
Donation protected
We have all heard that there is a real shortage of proper medical protective equipment for healthcare workers and vulnerable members of our society, and it seems that everyone who can sew is making fabric masks. St. Tabitha's Auxiliary is heading up an Orthodox Christian response, focusing on word of mouth needs from those among and acquainted to our communities. If you can't sew or aren't able to during this project, you can still help! $1 = 1 mask made and delivered to someone in need.
Through your generous donation you will be able to share the joyful burden of making and delivering fabric face masks to those in need. Funds raised will be used to subsidize $1 per mask to cover supplies and shipping. This in no way compensates those sewing for their time and materials, but it allows the burden of this work of mercy to be shared by the community.
St. Tabitha's Auxiliary is a new not-for-profit effort stood up to help supply healthcare workers and vulnerable members of our society to obtain fabric face masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is an Orthodox Christian ministry backed by St. Tabitha's Workshop, an Orthodox Christian fabric and sewing small business.
Hopefully one of two things happen: we stop needing to make masks before we use the money raised, or we raise more money than we can possibly use. Funds not used for masks will be donated to International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC), who are also vested in helping the world during this pandemic.
