As you are aware, the COVID-19 crisis has hit many of us hard. #SmallBusinessRelief
We closed our doors last week in an effort to help flatten the curve and do our part. As you can imagine, we are taking quite a hit without the ongoing support and visits of our guests.
Meows Corner has been open just shy of 9 months and so far we have found families for 50 homeless cats and a home at the lounge for another 15 cats currently. We are so proud of the past 2.5 years of hard work, sweat and funds we have poured into our small lounge for the love of our cats and community.
We are appealing to you all for help to cover the expenses we've lost the last couple of weeks as this situation has unraveled and the upcoming next couple months of rent (next rent is due April 1!) as we remain closed until at least May in compliance with Virginia's mandate to close non-essential businesses. We have also maintained care for our in-house cats which includes food, litter and other supplies.
