My BodYoga is a community dedicated to Raising the Vibration on the Planet and it all started in Prince William County, VA. It is because of the collective energy of positivity, love and hope each person carries through these doors that we have expanded our minds and hearts to create a place we all call home.
We all have walked through these doors at the very moment in time that was needed for our growth. It has been an adventure since day one and we will continue to take each day as it comes. Our deepest concern is for our yogi family and every human out there on the planet to be safe and healthy. The reality of what is before us is reaching and pulling on the heart strings in ways we could have never imagined. It’s a global gathering of putting our minds together to support the very beautiful people and parts of our lives that are dear to us.
We have the opportunity to raise each other up and rise to the occasion of keeping our unity in tack. It’s a matter of coming together even through all the physical separation.
We have grown too far to think that this COVID-19 pandemic could ever take our freedom or fuel a fear within us to take us away from our mission. We all have bright and purpose filled ideas, dreams and vision to make this world a better place. We are warriors and we will fight with a collective consciousness of healing and harmony and kick this virus' ASANA.
A short insert about my life path to do this work. It was born out of fear and suffering for many years which became my greatest teacher. Over the years since I opened my doors in my home studio in 2005 to a brick and mortar in Occoquan, VA to our current location, I have respect for the tough times and make light of my life experience for the good, as I had to learn how to climb out of a pain cycle, break free and show others the way. In the midst of all the years of growing a community, I was faced with many decisions at the time and the most pressing one, was to pull back and close my 2nd location when one of my sons was going through a very difficult time with his health and he needed my full attention. As time passed, I continued to synchronically hear from so many people who were a part of our community asking if I would ever open again. Of course, the passion was still in my DNA and I was missing every person and the mission, but I was in a new season and thought since I made a decision to stop, I had to stick to it. Well, at the right time about a year and a half after closing, there was no question I was being pushed by something bigger than myself to continue this work. I opened the doors to My BodYoga in 2012 with the abundance helping others with our incredible wellness team and enjoying every single person who brings this studio to life. We appreciate your continuous friendship and support to this community that belongs to you.

We have turned lives around, impacted the people in profound ways and have picked one another up to be better humans. We have a deep capacity to love and serve because our humble yoga studio has evolved into a place to enrich the lives of one person at time through wellness programs, life purpose retreats, community outreach, book clubs, musical events, sound healing gatherings, yoga classes, holistic healing practices, reiki shares, yoga and reiki teacher trainings and the like.
Our wellness team & karma crew are so compassionate and want to continue this work to serve. They have been the greatest support to you all and I appreciate each of them for their continuous dedication to making this studio a special place health and healing.
We must keep these doors open for the next person who need the love, healing and support and for all the people here prepared to give as they have received. We want to get back to business with our staff as soon as we have the green light, take care of our wellness team, continue to support those in need in the community and cover the crazy expenses to keep this operation smooth. Your positive thoughts and prayers means so much.
We understand that we are not the only small business faced with the uncertainty of what tomorrow will bring. All we know is when we vibe as a tribe, we get the work done. The work to keep the positivity flowing and the people happy in heart, mind and soul.
