If you want to give a free meal to the frontline workers to appreciate their hard work during COVID-19 pandemic. Please donate $ 7 for one lunch, and the restaurant will deliver them to the frontline.
"Free meals for Frontline workers - fighting COVID-19" fundraising project is focusing all providing free food to all frontline workers, including healthcare doctors, nurses, staff in the hospital, who is in high risk of contacting patients, emergency truck and ambulance team members, as well as police officers, firefighters, post office workers, people works in the transportation industry, who are heroes combating COVID-19 for all of Americas.
Here’s the problem:
There’s a shortage of medical professionals in hospitals across the country. Doctors and nurses are working tirelessly in the hospital, many of them do not have time to have a break or lunchtime. If a member of the hospital staff cannot maintain a healthy condition and gets sick or catches the virus, more people in the country will be at serious risk, and they cannot work for at least 14 days. We need to protect the frontline workers. More frontline works in healthy condition means more capacity at our hospitals, and more people will get the care.
On the other hand, many local restaurants are facing closing or bankrupt risk because of the COVID-19 crisis. We would also like to support our local small business, such as restaurants, to survive in this very difficult time.
Action in Progress:
There’s a lot of volunteers time and effort that goes on behind the scenes to make this happen, but it’s essentially a four-step process:
1. Identified restaurants that would like to participate in the preparation of the food.
2. Identified the needs of local hospitals, firefighter stations for the meals to deliver to.
3. Created an easy menu for the ordering
4. Identify the delivering method
Pizza for Heroes:
So far, we have donated and delivered pizzas to five Police Department of Gwinnett County.

On April 26th, with the funding support, we donated 20 meals to Piedmont Hospital for appreciating our frontline workers.
On April 16th, with the funding support, we donated 20 meals to Good Samaritan Health Center of Gwinnett in Norcross for appreciating our frontline workers.
On April 3rd, With the funding support, we donated 40 meals to Northside Gwinnett Hospital in Duluth for appreciating our frontline workers.
What we have done so far?
The Gwinnett Family Group associated with other local Chineses communities called donations for purchasing face masks for local hospitals and clinics. In the last two weeks, we have donated the following items to the local frontline hospitals:
1. 880 pieces of 3M N95 masks were donated to Emory Hospital
2. 952 N95 masks were donated to Emory Johns Creek, GA (collaborated with Yolanda Art and AiAA Art)
3. 10 goggles and 400 surgical masks were donated to Northeast Georgia Medical Center
4. 14 insulated suites, 40 goggles, and 2800 gloves have been donated to Northeast hospital in Georgia.
5. 201 masks have been delivered to Eastside hospital
How the fund will be managed?
Your donation will be used solely on frontline worker's meals and delivery fees. To be transparent, our team will report the fundraised and the meals delivered daily to the Gofundme page. Please monitoring us with all the transactions.
