Coastal Communities Consulting, Inc. (CCC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving Southeast Louisiana’s coastal entrepreneurs and families through business technical assistance, economic development, social support services, and continued disaster assistance. We believe that placing an equal emphasis on strong businesses and strong families is central to a vibrant rural coastal economy. By prioritizing business equity and economic stability, we give coastal entrepreneurs the tools to foster and sustain resilience both on land and at sea.
CCC was established in September 2010, as a direct result of the Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill and subsequent BP Oil Spill and as an extension to our Executive Director’s, Sandy Ha Nguyen, over 2 decades of community service. Southeast, LA has been devastated by 3 back to back, very different, catastrophic disasters. In addition to millions of dollars recovered for impacted communities by Sandy after Hurricane Katrina and Gustav/Ike, CCC recently assisted individuals and businesses impacted by the BP Spill recover over 50 million dollars in claim settlement assistance and education. The sudden epic spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has stunned the world and, again, has subdued our communities into another disaster. With a proven track record in recovery assistance, CCC anticipates that the thousands of clients we’ve serviced in the past will count on us to carry them through this pandemic. While CCC continues to work to sustain small businesses and families, we will need your support ever more so, during this time, to provide emergency response and relief services for our coastal communities.
