Urgent Need of Masks in Our Hospitals

The Problem:
With the spread of the coronavirus still going strong, more and more medical workers will be in need of masks and other protective gear. The US is currently experiencing a sizable shortage of these materials, which means that many doctors and nurses may be forced to go up to the frontline without adequate protection. At the Sutter Health Hospital in Oakland, California, (the hospital that this fundraiser would be supporting at this moment) there are nurses who wear hand-made cotton masks because of the lack of surgical ones.
The Solution:
We have partnered with a few FDA-approved factories (certificate available upon request) and have been given the price of $0.50-$1 per surgical mask, not including shipping, but these prices are rising. Every cent and every second count. 100% of the donations gained from this fundraiser would go towards purchasing surgical and procedural masks for medical workers. Specific information on the factory would be updated here as soon as it's available.
