FKT Run on D&R Canal To Fight Covid-19 in NJ

As a runner, I have felt crippled by what has gone on with the Coronavirus Pandemic. It has altered the very lives we have grown so accustomed to as things continue to deteriorate by the hour. Luckily, I have been able to run a little each day to find peace and solitude from the new pressures of being on a "Stay At Home" Order. I have also felt crippled in wanting to be able to give back to those doctors, nurses, and medical professionals on the front lines risking their lives each day to save lives here in NJ. I felt I had to do something and this is what I came up with:
My original intent was to run the FKT (Fastest Known Time) for running the full-length of the New Jersey Delaware-Raritan Canal Towpath (Approximately 75 miles) on May 16th This is a trail that I have spent my entire life running countless miles all throughout the trail and felt this was also a great opportunity to showcase the natural beauty of NJ and showcase the importance of exercising responsibly by adhering to proper social distancing.

My hope is to ask for your support to raise money to help New Jersey fight the plague of life-threatening issues that have been going on in by donating what you can to the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund, which has been the leading organization in getting relief to the medical front lines as well as grant funding for those organizations that support and care for all those most affected in New Jersey. 100% of what is donated on this Go Fund Me will be donated to NJPRF.
