We are raising money to help produce hundreds of meals each week during COVID-19 for local charities, key workers and vulnerable neighbours in our local community.
Wether you can donate £1, £10 or even more, every penny counts.
Money raised will enable us to purchase the raw ingredients for our team and team of volunteers to safely produce the meals required for the likes of patients and staff at St Andrews Hospice, some of the team working for the Care Plus Group at the new hospital based at Cambridge Park, alongside others in our local community who are in need of hot food daily.
A large part of our business had to close a few weeks ago due to COVID-19. Since 22nd March we have had a very small team move in together and live on site to ensure that we can house critical and key workers needing to attend work in North East Lincolnshire.
Many charities are now suffering a huge loss of food donations due to the Coronavirus and the impact it's had on businesses both locally and nationally. Whilst we would normally rely on the independent producers and suppliers we work with day in and day out to donate ingredients for cooking, as well as products from our own gardens and kitchen, they as small independent businesses do not have the supplies or cash flow to generate donations for the huge volume of raw ingredients desperately needed.
Whilst we are working with the likes of ISH Fish, Stokes Tea & Coffee, Swales, Premier Seafoods and Dairy Lincs, there's so much more food required to be able to generate the amount of meals and food currently required in the local area.
Our pledge is to support this cause by giving our time, overheads and skills to cook 100-250 meals each day until the end of this pandemic. We will also pledge to arrange the donation of other required products including PPE and necessities for care workers such as toothpaste and shampoo.
