Health care providers are on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic. They are working endlessly to care for COVID-19 patients in high risk environments.
A client and friend of mine, Adam, has been setting up containment centers in hospitals around Denver. The Medical Center of Aurora has the largest facility dedicated to treating COVID-19 patients in and around Denver. Adam put me in touch with the Community Affairs Director of the hospital to let me know the best way to support the health care providers is to provide meals to the front liners. The staff love knowing the community supports them through this unprecedented time and they truly appreciate any warm meals during long hours.
Additionally, my neighbors, Benson and Lily, work at Swedish Medical Center. Their day-to-day work is so intense that they are temporarily living in rental, in an effort not expose their family members to the coronavirus. This is true for many health care providers who are staying in hotel rooms while caring for patients.
I will be coordinating breakfast and lunch deliveries to the health care providers at Swedish Medical Center and the Medical Center of Aurora. Your donation allows milehimodern to support our local heroes. I will be sure to share any pictures I receive. Thank you in advance for your support.
