WE HAVE SPOKEN TO A REPRESENTITIVE FOR CAPTAIN TOM'S FAMILY AND THEY ARE OVER THE MOON THAT THE HAMPERS WILL BE SHARED BETWEEN NHS STAFF AT 2 HOSPITALS, BEDFORD HOSPITAL AND NHS NIGHTINGALE HARROGATE.
We, like thousands of others around the UK are in total awe at Captain Tom Moore's extraordinary fundraising achievement. Like many of you we have ourselves donated to Tom's fundraiser as the NHS is very close to our own hearts.
We have launched this bespoke campaign to say Thank You to Tom & to wish him a happy 100th birthday by raising funds to send 100 of our #ThankYouNHS hampers to a hospital of his choice where the contents will be shared amongst the staff.
We will use the funds raised purchase and deliver the contents from smaller independent producers which in turn helps their businesses in this time. That said if there are any manufacturers that may have excess stock they are willing to donate then please do get in touch.
This is all part of our bigger #ThankYouNHS initiative which to date has seen 420 hampers and 20k+ gifts delivered to thousands of selfless staff at hospitals around the country since 2018, the NHS's 70th Anniversary.
