We are a start-up company with a strong desire to engage at-risk students outside the classroom by providing programs and activities in their community.
We believe the children of today are our future leaders in science, medicine, engineering, technology and the arts.
By providing this outreach, we are providing them the tools to explore their world, and showing them the ways in which it can stimulate their curiosity. We endeavor to teach them how to communicate effectively, investigate, work independently and in teams, communicate effectively, share individual AND team accomplishments, accept responsibility and to have fun.
The funds will be used to build science kits with materials to build and science activities. As we are focusing on low income Title I students, we endeavor to provide these kits at no-cost to the student.
We are planning to begin this project by July 1, in time for summer school break when many of the children cannot afford camps and other cost-base activities. If this pilot project succeeds, we will carry the idea forward throughout the year.
Our desire is to motivate, provide opportunity and resources, and empower our children for a brighter future.
