Lucy was diagnosed with bladder cancer on 4/22/2020. Treatment was started at Tier 1 Veterinary Medical Center in Wasilla on 5/1/2020. She'll be requiring ongoing treatment. Her blood calcium level is very high. She is being treated for that first before further treatment can be started. All test have been performed to determine that she is healthy enough to have the treatments. Without treatment, her life expectancy is 6 months or less. Surgery is not an option.
Lucy is a beautiful female beagle estimated to be 10 1/2 years old. She came to me on 4/10/2020 from Alaska Cat & Dog Rescue. She was in poor health to include very poor teeth, a large non-cancerous mass on her right shoulder and a urinary tract infection (UTI). 7 teeth and the large mass were removed and she was treated for the UTI prior to her adoption. Lucy has had a rough past life and deserves a comfortable remainder to her life. She is a real sweetheart, loves attention and walks and voices her opinion often. She fits in well with my other 6 beagles.
I have already paid for her initial exam, test and treatment at Tier 1. Needless to say that it's an expensive process and any help is appreciated.
