S.M.I.❤.E (Single Mom Implementing Love + Encouragement) has been my vision for many years as having been a single mother of 5 who faced homelessness. It has been my passion to pay it forward by providing assistance to single mothers & their children in the communities who are facing hardship, whether it be financial distress, homelessness or basic necessities.
On September 19, 2020, as a part of our efforts and with the support of District Judge elect - Bobby Holmes, City Councilman Craig Marks, NAACP Lake Charles Chapter, J.J's Jammin Food Jobe Guillery and my iS Clinical family, we were able to provide basic necessities for single mothers & their children to include diapers, wipes, clothing, gift cards for formula, cleaning supplies as well as hot meals served to over 200 people in Lake Charles, La., who were affected by Hurricane Laura. My immediate family was severely affected which has posed an even greater need to want to help others!
As an on-going effort for the Lake Charles community and surrounding areas, as well as our local communities, it is our ultimate goal to continue our mission of giving back . Your financial support will help bring relief to many families during these unprecedented times and we thank you for your generous contribution.
