PHASE 2:
More than 10,000 Americans report having been scammed every month. The amount of money lost adds up to over $10 million each month. This film will raise awareness of popular scams and the mindset of a con artist. This will equip viewers with the knowledge to recognize and defend against scams.
We have a final draft of the screenplay and are currently raising finance. We were able to raise about $10,000 towards the film on Seed & Spark which will be allocated to Camera, Lighting, Sound, and other equipment. We also have $17,000 come straight from Symplicity Productions.
We currently have about 45 PERCENT of our total budget for the film but we still need help to raise the rest.
The purpose of this GoFundMe is to raise $7,000 funds for Cast & Crew Fees.
We plan to go into production in December 2020 in Atlanta, GA. We will be submitting this film to Cannes, Sundance, and Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and will be having s film tour in 11 cities across the US.
Due to COVID-19, the film tour of our first film "Kesler" was postponed until further notice as we value safety first. We plan to have this approach for "The Pros of Cons." We plan to have socially distant set and will be watching the virus closely as our current dates may need to pushed. We want this film to be made in the safest way possible.
