Songs For Women
I am a young writer/poet. I’m compiling a poetry compilation titled Songs for Women.
It’s a collection of poems focused on sex, erotica, sexual relationships (good and bad), growth, intimacy, etc. It’s a project I’ve been working on for the last year and a half or so. It’s set to have 85 poems separated into five chapter. Tender Love. Passionate Pain & Pleasure. Venom (focusing on toxic relationships that need sex to work), Wicked + Divine, and Mother’s Nature.
In these works that are meant to bring pleasure, intimacy, and reflection together, I figured I would need art. And if I’m going to writing about women, I would need women to be the ones doing illustrations and editing the project. So I decided I would commission various women with different art styles to do 35-40 line art drawings to accompany certain poems and chapter intros.
As I’m broke, starving artist of a writer without huge backing or a publishing deal, I will need help to pay the whole team of artists I’ve asked to help with this project. I’ve paid a few artists already for their pieces but I’m stuck at a deadend job like most people. Any donation would be appreciated to help pay all the artist. Please and thank you in advance.
