The excitement is brewing for Blazing Cat!  


Blazing Cat is like a mad science reaction within an alembic of Frankenstein's Laboratory bubbling and blurbbling with exaggeratedly flatulent Hollywood foley art sound effects befitting an old B-movie.


GIANT ROCK IS YOUR SPACEPORT


Gather together around earth's cosmic transponder, the unique Giant Rock, ancient indigenous sacred site and home of the original UFO contactee gatherings.   In the rugged and remote Mojave High Desert Mesa, beneath the rare Blood Blue Moon of Halloween 2020, we shall hold the inaugural Blazing Cat.


SATURDAY OCTOBER 31st 10 PM SHARP THE CATOLITH BURNS

The Catolith, icon of Holofelinity, the universal cat consciousness, will be erected before the Giant Rock and set ablaze in a spectacular ritual of catharsis and renewal for all to share in together; Blazing Cat.

FOUR DAYS OF RITUAL, REVELRY, & REGENERATION

Thursday October 29th through Sunday November 1st 2020, Giant Rock will be home to Blazing Cat.  Come camp together and share in creativity, freedom of expression, and the passionate communion of beauty within yourself and the world around you.

Blazing Cat welcomes your creative contributions.  Help build the Catolith!  Install your art!  Come in costume!  Play music!  Dance!  Learn and teach!  Live, love and let live it up!  Eat, drink, and be merry!  Leave no trace!

Enjoy the fascinating environs of the surrounding Mojave Desert filled with natural wonders, indigenous and modern historical sites, folk art and a vibrant local desert culture.  Embark on eccentric excursions and bold adventures into and beyond the zone of Blazing Cat.
