Queer The Deck Presents: Shots

Inspired by the shooting at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida, Shots is an interview-based play that explores how a tragic event can affect people thousands of miles away. A stunning new LGBTQ work by and for our community.
After a well-received reading at the PlaySmelter festival at the Sudbury Theatre Centre in May of 2019, Shots is ready for the public again. The proposed date for the presentation is the weekend of the anniversary of the shooting, this coming June.
In order to make this happen, we need to raise money. Money to make sure the appropriate people are compensated (we believe in compensating our artists equitably), and money to ensure the right amount of production value is there.

Queer The Deck is an emerging queer theatre company in the City of Greater Sudbury, whose goal is to bring the Queer Theatre Movement to Sudbury. Shots will be its debut production.
