Evan's Gaga pit mitzvah project

Donation protected
I will be become a Bar Mitzvah on October 17, 2020, and I am so excited to have the opportunity to build a GAGA PIT at my synagogue (Congregation Sons of Israel in Nyack, NY) for my mitzvah project!

Gaga is a form of dodgeball that originated in Israel in the 1970s and spread when Israeli counselors brought the game to summer camps around the world.  Gaga is a sport that is considered to be a safer and more exciting form of dodgeball.  Gaga uses a SOFT foam ball and  is played in an octagon shaped "pit.”  The walls of the pit are generally only 3 feet tall.  The goal is to be the last person left in the pit.

Gaga is a super fun interactive game and kids LOVE to play!  Installing this pit at CSI Nyack will allow the older kids to have a separate play space from the younger kids (currently there is only a small playground space).  Also, a Gaga pit may encourage the older kids to come to temple if they know they can play a game of Gaga after kiddush...and hey, maybe we'll even get some of the adults to join in the fun! :)

But I need your help!! In order to purchase the materials to build the pit, I need to raise money to offset the costs.

Please consider making a contribution to my mitzvah project...I would be so grateful and you will be happy you did! The Gaga pit will ensure fun for kids of all ages for many many years to come!

THANK YOU!!!
