Scholarship fund for the poor and underprivileged

PromoGuinée is a non-profit organization founded in 2006. Our main focus is on Education to help fight poverty in Guinea, a small country in West Africa. Our mission is to  help improve the quality of life of Guineans through education.


PromoGuinée’s main project is a scholarship programs that provides funding to brilliant kids from middle school and high school, coming from poor and underprivileged backgrounds, so they can receive a quality education in some of the best school systems in Guinea.

Since 2006 we have offered a total of over 100 scholarships to 50 different students, which represent over $50,000 on school fees, uniforms and materials for the students.
Those who have graduated from colleges and universities usually come back to work with the organization in order to continue to push the mission and help other youths.

In January 2019 we started a new scholarship program for girls only  that aims to attempt to fill the gap between boys and girls by providing educational and moral support to girls in middle school. Ultimately the goal is to increase the success rate of girls from public schools in graduating from middle school and help more girls from public schools succeed in high school. The program will be made available to girls from the 8th grade and will consist of support classes, school supplies and coaching.


It costs $500 per year to fully fund 1 student, who otherwise may not be able to continue studying as much as they would want to.

The goal of this  campaign is to raise $1000 to sponsor 2 new students for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year.
