Moving due to Mold... Again

Donation protected
4 years ago, I got very sick. I started turning grey, having panic attacks so bad that I wanted to claw my skin off. In a period of about 6 weeks, I lost about 30 pounds. We found out that I had mold illness. We had our home tested and found mold growing underneath our entire home. The lab said there were holes in our ductwork and that it was circulating throughout the house. We were advised by my doctor and another expert never to return to the house. The remediation was more than we could ever had afforded. Honestly, the house needed to be torn down completely. We had to walk away. We lost our home of 12 years.I have been trying to recover ever since.Last year, I took a turn for the worse. I started losing the ability to walk. At times, I couldn't even sit up on my own and would slur my words. The doctors couldn't find anything. We knew it was the mold. Later, we found out, that we had moved into yet another moldy home. The decline was happening month by month. I was telling my husband my final wishes. I was losing 2-3 lbs every month and there was nothing we could do.Then, a friend told us about a place called Envita Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. It isn't covered by insurance, but once we looked into it, we knew we had to go.We prayed that if it was God's will, that He would provide. He did in a huge way! I went out there for treatment in Dec 2019- Jan 2020.I  got better! Before I left, my doctor said it was evident that I was highly sensitive to my environment. We talked about moving to Arizona, a more arid and drier climate, but we decided against it and moved back to Tennessee.  A decision I wish I had never made. The first few months back in Tennessee, I felt pretty good. Then, I started declining throughout the summer. By August, I was having tremors again and couldn't stand or walk. It hadn't even occurred to us that we had moved into another moldy home. This was a relative's home that we had come to for 20 years. I hadn't lived here though and my body is more sensitive now.Since moving back, not only have I gone downhill, but my children have. My 17 year old daughter is dealing with memory loss. My 13 year old son started falling asleep at the table uncontrollably. He would have a hard time waking in the morning. He started having a hard time thinking and understanding things.  At times, he would look at me but seemed to not be able to comprehend what I was saying. My 6 year old twins started having anxiety and their digestive tracts shut down. They started having more allergic reactions to food. We will lose everything again. We will have to buy all new clothes, new furniture, new books. We have already gone through this 3 times in Tennessee. We will have to test our future home for mold, sell our cars which are contaminated. God has already done so much for us. Friends and relatives have given to us and prayed for us more than we deserve or could ever thank them for.It is humiliating to ask for help, yet again. Yet, here we are. If God lays it on your hearts to give, we very much appreciate it. We so appreciate your prayers as well.If you are wondering how we arrived at the number we did, it was not a guess. My husband sat down with pen and paper and these are the calculations he came up with.We will have to replace (almost) everything. The twins and Reese have a bunkbed that is metal so we can wipe that down. The mattresses will have to be replaced. We will have to replace:*Steve and I lost our last bed from the mold so we don't have one (staying at my father in laws which has mold and how have to leave).*Mattresses*Couch (we can't buy anything used anymore. We can't risk it)*Washer/ Dryer*Bed sheets/ covers/ bedding*Pillows*Pillowcases*Kitchen Utensils*My wheelchair (it has cloth on it and has to go)*Clothes, underwear, pajamas, shoes (all have to be new. Can't risk cross contamination anymore) *Mold testing for new home*Deposit and first month's rent for new home*All utilities*Groceries to start over in new home (imagine replacing all spices, foods). This money doesn't include ANY income for Steve to start his business over in a new area. We will literally be starting from scratch. In Christ,MeganIf you want to read our full story, you can read it here:http://www.healingbyhisgrace.com/2019/11/my-mold-story.html
