Over the Rainbow, Liverpool
A part of Over The Rainbow Support C.I.C we are the result of a group of friends who came together with a common goal of creating an organisation which aims to improve the lives of those who identify as LGBTQ+.
We have since expanded to include all people who fall between the “gaps” in current services and provisions identified by the local community and creating our own bespoke services and provisions designed to fill these “gaps” including Mental Health, Domestic Violence, Substance Abuse, Homelessness, all whilst maintaining a speciality in LGBTQ+ related issues.
We aim to provide a safe and inclusive space for people to be themselves in an effort to reduce stigma, discrimination, social exclusion and isolation as well as providing support and advice to those in need. Along with this we also aim to educate those who would like to further their knowledge on the barriers and issues faced by the LGBTQ+ Community.
We hope to secure enough funds in order to allow us to secure a venue which will allow us to run our services in person as well as having a safe-space drop in centre for all who need it.
