Lactation Counselor & Midwifery Training

My goal is to become a Certified Professional Midwife. 


I became a Birth and Postpartum Doula in order to better serve parents of all economic backgrounds.  Providing affordable and great quality care.  I intend on offering doula care to 2 clients a year that is in need. Birth matters, support, and advocacy are crucial for birthing persons especially BIPOC. 

I will use funds to continue and improve on my current education in birth work which I intend on advancing and becoming a Certified Professional Midwife. Two schools I am considering applying to is Mercy In Action and Birth Wise School of Midwifery.  Mercy in Action does not have federal student aid available and Birth Wise would include travel expenses to Maine multiple times per year.
