Donate to the Duras Christmas Fund

Hi, my name is Graham Doman and I would like to introduce you to a Donate to the Duras a charity that is a very important mission for my family and me. We started Donate to the Duras 5 years ago to help less fortunate children in the developing nation of Honduras. 

My father has been traveling to Honduras for work since before I was born. Over the years, I have gone there many times myself. I have met many people and have developed special relationships with a number of them. One of the highlights of my visits was when my dad would take my brother or me down and arrange for us to play soccer with some local children, hoping we would pick up a little Spanish while having fun and honing our soccer skills! 

A couple of years ago on one of my trips to Honduras, I was introduced to an orphanage in Naco, Honduras, called the Home of Refuge Internacional. Along with my brother, Clark, I became involved in helping this organization. 

Home of Refuge Internacional takes care of 27 children in central Honduras. In addition to the orphanage's day to day challenges housing and feeding children, Home of Refuge encountered further hardships with COVID and devastating hurricanes that have hit Honduras. In the 2021 and 2022 projects, we rebuilt chicken coops and chickens that provided the children with essential nutrition in their diets. The current 2023 fundraising campaign is to help provide a more enjoyable Christmas for these children as well as raise money to rebuild a structures that the orphanage needs repaired. I am hoping this effort will not only bring joy but also help this orphanage.

I am asking those of you who can, to help me with my efforts. Through your generosity, we will be able to purchase much needed clothes and supplies in addition to a toy for each child this Christmas. I am grateful for your kind donations in helping our mission.
