Madison’s Transition Fund

Hi everyone, my name is Madison I’m 22 & I’m transgender. I currently live with both of my parents who are not supportive in me transitioning. They do not call me by my preferred name or pronouns this has caused me a lack of motivation all throughout high school to the point of me barley passing. Now, at 22 I work full time as a barista barely  making enough money to support me moving out, & paying for my transition. All of the funds raised would go towards HRT, changing my name legally, laser hair removal, housing & rent. 

I was on hormones for 9 months but due to being quarantined with my parents because of covid I did not feel safe and was forced to stop taking them. this has caused me depression, & extreme body dysmorphia. Asking for help was the last thing I ever wanted to do but I am at an extremely low point in my life and ready to move forward and start living as myself 100% of the time which is something I’m unable to do in this household.  I plan on moving to Philadelphia with my best friend this summer, where I will be able to live my new life authentically.
