16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence

Please join DWAG in our annual 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign. Our work begins on November 25th, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and lasts until December 10th, Human Rights Day. Together we will learn about how violence is plaguing women and girls and use our voices to call for the elimination of gender-based violence -- particularly the use of rape as a weapon of war, one of the most pervasive and cruel tactics that has been used throughout the Darfur genocide. Throughout the campaign, DWAG will feature stories from women in Darfur and the diaspora; female genocide survivors and activists around the world; and women leaders and scholars playing an important role in the advancement of gender equality, genocide prevention, peacebuilding, and human rights advocacy.

We are asking for your moral and financial support of our mission during these 16 days so that DWAG can continue to support survivors year-round. Your donation, whether it be $10 or $100, will help Darfuri women who are facing the double burden of violence and the hardships associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
