My Car Fund

I’m raising money to buy a car because not having one has become a big hindrance. Ridesharing is so unsafe during this pandemic, and it is also expensive. Depending on work or other obligations, I can spend $100-150 a weel in ridesharing. This is becoming unmanageable, and I might have to start taking the bus soon. Taking the bus would be cheaper, but the commute times would be much longer. I also have not taken my city’s bus system since 2017, when I experienced an instance of harassment on my way home from school. This incident has given me a lot of trauma associated with the bus system, and it scares me to have to do it. Reaching my goal would mean purchasing a car outright, paying the associated taxes and registration fees, and paying 6 months of insurance upfront. Thank you ❤️.
